NOTE: Some computers may try to execute the files(to run them) if you
simply click on the links below. To avoid any confusion, please
"right-click" and select "save-as" from your mouse context menu.
Though it is not harmful because there is no harmful software in the
exe or screen saver files, you should be aware that certain system
security software may also prevent you from downloading the files
(or, a best, may put up some warning). Rest assured that these are
legitimate, safe software downloads which contain only a slide-show
of images, mostly guitars.
†You must use WinZip, WinRAR, or another Archive extraction utility if you download a .zip file. If you are not familiar with archive extraction, please choose the .scr format.

How to install the Alley Cat Music · Screen Saver to function as your Default Windows Screen Saver
There are a lot of beautiful guitars featured in this year's Screen Saver-- please follow these step-by-step instructions so you can get the most out of it!
If you intend to use the screen saver as your default Windows screen saver, you should download the .scr version to a folder of your choice. The .scr file-format is recognized by Windows as a Screen Saver file. Complete the following steps successfully, and the next time your computer is left idle, you'll return to find it's just a little bit more rock 'n roll than it was before!

Install the .scr file:
After the file download is complete (about 7MB), locate the file on your hard drive, right-click it and find the entry in the mouse context menu wich reads "Install". - It's
Installed... Now What?:
Once you've installed the Alley Cat screen saver using this method, you will see it in your Desktop settings menu under Screen Savers. To modify your Desktop Settings and replace your existing Screen Saver with the Alley Cat Screen Saver, simply find a blank area of your Windows Desktop, right-click with your mouse and select Properties. -

If you've followed the instructions correctly thus far then in a moment, your Desktop Preference Settings will appear.- Click on the Screen Saver tab and find the Alley Cat Screen Saver (look for the filename: alleycat-screensaver.scr, unless you decided to rename the file before you selected "Install" previously from the mouse context menu).
- Test your new screen saver by selecting "Preview", using the ESC key to exit and return to the Preferences dialogue when you've finished.
